Originally from Shanghai (later moved to Boston’s North Shore), I met a South Shore native, and we got married in Newport, RI and moved to NYC in Sep 2009 for his job in Midtown. We both had experienced our city lives in Boston and DC, but NYC is a just a whole different world. Experiencing all kinds of food is our goal in life. We have enjoyed food in China, Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, the Caribbean, and all over the U.S.; we’ve had wacky food such as insects, stinky tofu, and snakes, but we know that there is no limit to what other kind of crazy food exists in this world.
NYC is such a wonderful place for food adventurers like us, we cannot wait to try as many restaurants from all different regions as possible and would like to contribute to the society by blogging our exploration so everyone else can choose where they want to eat.
